Site served over HTTPS

Once-off foundation In SAEO: Reachability Auto-detectable

What this is

A once-off foundation check: the public site should load securely over HTTPS end-to-end, with HTTP redirecting cleanly.

Why this matters

Browsers warn on insecure sites, and search engines prefer HTTPS. Mixed content or leftover HTTP landing pages still hurt local and brochure businesses.

What it will do

  • Confirm the live site redirects HTTP → HTTPS and serves a valid certificate.
  • Use Reachability if SAEO flags insecure or mixed-content problems.
  • Fix any “Not secure” warnings on money pages before chasing content tweaks.
