Terms of use
Last updated: 22 July 2026. Questions: saeoptimizer.pro@gmail.com.
Agreement
By using the SAEO WordPress plugin, saeoptimizer.pro, or api.saeoptimizer.pro, you agree to these terms. If you use SAEO for a client site, you confirm you are allowed to manage that site.
The free plugin
The WordPress plugin is licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later. You may use, modify, and redistribute it under that license. Free features (including audits, Workbench tools, and Strategy suggestions) work without a paid account.
Hosted Pro services
Optional paid Pro licenses (1, 5, or 50 sites) provide hosted features such as the Growth Plan, live research, Ask AI, and multi-site license seats. Those services are delivered through our API and account portal, not as locked code inside the GPL plugin.
- Plans and included research / AI credits are described on Pricing
- Credits may reset monthly; purchased packs may rollover when offered
- You can cancel a subscription from your account when Stripe billing is enabled
- Refunds for annual plans follow the policy stated at purchase time
Accounts and license keys
You are responsible for keeping your login email and license key secure, and for activating only sites you control within your plan’s site limit. We may suspend keys that are shared abusively or used to attack our systems.
Acceptable use
Do not use SAEO or our API to:
- Break the law, scrape in violation of third-party terms, or send spam
- Overwhelm our API or research providers with automated abuse
- Misrepresent rankings, citations, or AI results as guarantees
No ranking guarantees
SAEO coaches SEO and answer-engine work. We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, or AI citations. Outcomes depend on your site, market, and competitors.
Third-party services
Google, Stripe, and research/AI providers have their own terms. You must comply with them when you connect those services. See also our Privacy policy.
Availability
We aim for reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted uptime. Free plugin features that run on your hosting do not depend on our API.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, SAEO and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from use of the plugin or hosted services. Our total liability for paid services is limited to fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of hosted services after the “Last updated” date means you accept the revised terms. Material changes to paid plans will be communicated by email when practical.
Contact
These terms are a practical baseline for the product. Have counsel review them before you rely on them for paid subscriptions in your jurisdiction.
