Who we are

SAEO (Search & Answer Engine Optimizer) is operated via saeoptimizer.pro and the related API at api.saeoptimizer.pro. Contact: saeoptimizer.pro@gmail.com.

What this covers

This policy covers:

• The free WordPress plugin when it runs only on your site
• Optional account signup and magic-link login on saeoptimizer.pro
• Optional hosted Pro features (license, credits, research, AI, Growth Plan)
• Optional Google connections (Search Console, Analytics, Business Profile)

Data we process

On your WordPress site (local)

Audits, scores, redirects, schema, and similar tools run on your hosting. That content stays in your WordPress database unless you connect a hosted service.

When you create an SAEO account

• Email address (login / magic link)
• License key, plan tier, and credit balances
• Site URL(s) you activate
• Billing details if you purchase a plan (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers)

When you connect Google

With your consent, we receive OAuth tokens and metrics you authorize (for example Search Console queries, GA4 traffic, Business Profile fields). You can revoke access in Google Account settings and disconnect in SAEO.

When you use hosted research or AI

Requests go to our API and may be fulfilled using providers such as OpenAI and DataForSEO. We send the minimum needed for the feature (for example a keyword, location, or short site brief) — not your entire Media Library or unrelated personal data.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data
• We do not phone home from the free plugin until you connect an account or Google
• We do not require a credit card to install or use free local features

Cookies and analytics

The marketing site and account portal may use essential cookies for login/session. Optional product analytics, if enabled in the plugin, are opt-in and described in plugin settings.

Retention

Account and license data are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure for security and billing records. You can email us to request deletion of account data where legally allowed.

Your choices

• Use the plugin fully offline without creating an account
• Disconnect Google or your SAEO license anytime in Settings
• Email us to access, correct, or delete account data

Children

SAEO is for business website operators. It is not directed at children under 16.

We may update this page. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do.
