Find pages with no internal links (orphan pages)

Once-off foundation In SAEO: Link Assistant

What this is

An orphan page has little or no internal link pointing to it — so visitors and crawlers rarely discover it. This syllabus task is about finding those pages and connecting them from related hubs on a brochure or local-service site.

Why this matters

Orphans waste good content: Google struggles to find them, and customers never reach them from your main journeys. New service or area pages often go live without a link from the menu, a hub page, or a related guide.

What it will do

  • Open Link Assistant to list pages with weak or missing inbound internal links.
  • Add one clear link from a related hub (services, areas, or a parent page) — not a random footer spam link.
  • Re-check after publishing so money pages are reachable in a few clicks.
