A plan, not another toolkit
Toolkits are great at configuring SEO. They’re terrible at answering “what should we do for this client this month?” That’s the gap SAEO is built for.
The warning-wall problem
Open Rank Math or Yoast on a typical local business site and you’ll see dozens of orange and red items. Fix three. The wall barely moves. The client still asks what you did for the retainer. “I enabled schema” is not a strategy.
What a plan looks like instead
Three to five priorities. Ordered by impact. Each with a reason and a done-when definition. Sequenced across six months so Month 1 unblocks Month 3. Busywork called out so you don’t polish a page that was never going to move the needle.
You can keep your toolkit
Many operators keep a classic plugin for sitemaps and robots.txt. SAEO is the coach on top — Dashboard, auditor, and Growth Plan — not a clone of every toggle.
Who this is for
Brochure sites. Local and service businesses. Freelancers and small agencies who need to defend the month on a call. Not publishers chasing ten thousand keywords.
